Paper Pumpkin Cards

Image
I wanted to share with you the cards I made using the April Paper Pumpkin kit. This was a special kit because the CEO of Stampin' Up!, Sara Douglass, had a hand in designing it. The kit featured white embossed watercolour paper, a small set of watercolour pencils and a paint brush.  And the glimmer  flowers are gorgeous. It's bright and edgy with a different box from the regular orange Paper Pumpkin box. The box included instructions for making multiples of 3 designs. Here are those three designs: The next three are other designs I created using the watercoloured heart: From the watercoloured grid design, I created these three cards:    And lastly, I made these cards to use up all the contents of the kit: This kit was so much fun. If you are new to stamping and want to give it a try, a subscription to Paper Pumpkin will get you off to an easy start. To subscribe through my store, visit this link . Her favourite flower - Forget Me Not. And her favourite fine bone china teacup ... the Forget Me Not pattern by Royal Albert. And I remember the stories she told of walking in the English woods enjoying the thousands of bluebells at her feet. And my mom loved jewellery. Never a day went by without a pair of earrings and a gold chain around her neck. I guess that's where I get my love of jewellery (and my Dad's mom also loved ...

Watercolour Balloon Background

Image
Hello and welcome once again to my blog. I got the inspiration to make this card from France Martin. She did a balloon background with a simple embossed greeting over top. You can see her video here . I started with one card and loved it so much I just had to keep going with other colours. So these are the three cards I made complete with ribbon, dimensional balloons, Wink of Stella and I used the enamel embellishments as well. The stamp set is Balloon Celebration and the greeting banners are from the Cards & Labels framelits. Card One           Card Two Card Three Card Four I video taped the making of Card Four to share the technique with you. As I was filming, I started to recognize the number of tips I was passing on so be sure to grab a pen and paper so you can take some notes.
