Hello everyone. Welcome to the first Blog Hop for 2017. Our members had a choice for this month - a Valentine theme or our favourite product from the new Occasions catalogue/Sale-A-Bration brochure. It turns out that nearly every one of my customers chose the Hey Chick stamp set as one of their free items from the SAB brochure. As soon as I saw the brochure it was the stamp set I immediately zeroed in on. I don't live on a farm but for whatever reason I love chickens. My best buddy in Washington State has real chickens and I enjoy visiting with them when I go down. I'm also interested in seeing the varying colours of eggs they produce. Not just white and not just brown, but shades of blue, pink and yellow. Maybe my chicken interest stems from my love of owls and the collection I had in my early twenties. A stamp set with combinations of words you can use for multiple occasions and if you pair these with the coordinating embossing folders, you can make very creative embossed and coloured greetings. Check out this video by Shannon West of Stampin' Up! Spend a minimum of $60 before shipping and taxes, and you can earn a gorgeous pack of designer series paper called Inside the Lines . I'm sure you are well aware of the colouring book craze of the past year or so. Well Stampin' Up! has designed some paper you can colour with the new watercolour pencils and an acqua painter to blend the colours and create a beautiful background for your cards. Today I'm featuring the 'Falling in Love' product suite that has a couple of stamp sets plus coordinating dies, designer series paper, satin ribbon, lace doilies, gorgeous embellishments and an embossing folder. This suite of products is perfect for any 'love' themed occasion - an engagement, wedding, or anniversary and can also be used for birthday cards. You can create a belly band with the thinlits and use it to contain a gift card. It's my 30th wedding anniversary this year so I will make a very special card for my husband.
